Fixing Xbox 360 repair
Xbox 360 repair.
After the success of the first generation of Xbox, Microsoft released the second generation at the end of 2005, the Xbox 360. This new Xbox was mainly sold in white, but a top-of-the-range matte black version also existed. The Xbox 360 was essentially released in 3 variations:
- The Xbox 360 Arcade: White, with a cable controller and no memory for storage on the hard drive.
- The Xbox 360 Premium: Also White, but had a chrome bar on the front face, a wireless controller, and a 20GB hard drive.
- The Xbox 360 Elite: Matte black, with a chrome finish on the front face, a wireless controller, a HDMI cable, and a 120 GB hard drive.
The Xbox 360 is more than just a video games console, it’s a veritable media-centre capable of reading all multimedia files from a computer with a media centre platform, as well as reading CD, DVD, USB stick, MP3’s and all other FAT/FAT 32 USB device files.
On the repair side of things, the Xbox 360 is nearly as easy to repair as a PC, just like its elder. The only difficult thing is the disassembly and removal of its casing which isn’t too complex to remove, it will just take a lot of time.
Identification Xbox 360
It’s relatively easy to recognise an Xbox 360. The second generation of Xbox was almost only sold in white (black for the other models), and the model name Xbox 360 is written on the right and left sides. The Xbox 360 is also gifted with a removable hard drive on the top (Xbox 360 repair In Perth.).
The Xbox 360 is known in 3 different main versions, each of which feature internal developments. It’s impossible to identify the model from first glance, so the easiest way is to identify the variation of model from the amps of the console. The sticker showing the amperage is on the rear panel of the console, on top of the ethernet port. Here are the different numbers:
- Xenon/Zephyr: 16.5A
- Opus/Falcon : 14.2A
- Jasper : 12.1A
Joysticks
Joysticks are currently used in all sectors: in port crane control application, in construction machinery, in agricultural technology, in shipping applications, in conveyor, drive technology and transport engineering and in plant construction. They are highly functional and can be equipped with suitable accessories.
